ABOUT

Let the record show that, other than the crummy upright piano, Mitchell still owns every keyboard in this picture (and has a much better piano now).

Mitchell Sigman grew up in the metropolitan Detroit area the youngest of three kids in a music-obsessed household. The classic 70s rock of WRIF soon gave way to the early-MTV New Wave revolution, and he was hooked, first on keyboards with guitar following soon thereafter. With a family move to Southern California in 1985, he was soon in the perfect location for a succession of bands leading to original projects and eventually, higher-profile touring gigs with Berlin and Survivor.

In 2011, Mitchell relocated to Las Vegas to play with the Nancy Rayguns, an over-the-top 80s cover band featuring his future wife, singer Kim Wood.

Mitchell gigged with other Vegas-based gigs for over a decade, including sixties tribute, Kimmie and The Keepsakes (also with the future Mrs. Keeping-Her-Maiden-Name Kim Wood). Following COVID, Mitchell and Kim were ready for a change of scenery and relocated to the Stamford, Connecticut area, a hop, skip, and a jump from NYC.
